Infusion Services
IV Care Options provides advanced infusion therapy to patients recieving drug therapy and related nursing care for in need of receive cost effective medical care in the privacy and comfort of their personal suite.
IV Care Options provides many treatments that require continuous delivery, 24 hours/day, or several times a day for several hours. Additionally, patients may require blood lab analysis which is monitored by our staff, with the results necessitating changes in medication dosage or changes in the type of medication. A majority of the drug therapies are required to be administered with highly sophisticated drug delivery pumps, using various access devises. Therapies including:
- Administration of antibiotics and antifungal agents
- Administration of intravenous fluids (hydration)
- Administration of IV and enteral nutritional medications
- Maintenance and care of central lines, including port flushes
- On-site venipuncture and laboratory testing
- Administration of intravenous monoclonal antibodies and other medications
- Administration of pain management medications
- Portable pump programming and patient education
Our staff of nurses, pharmacists and respiratory therapists are among the most professional in the industry. Our experiences staff provides closely monitored care and evaluation for all patients. By providing progress notes and feedback results in a timely manner to the referring physician, we are able to better work toward the betterment of the patient.
Ambulatory Infusion Suites are available at four convenient area locations: Macon, Milledgeville, Eastman and Warner Robins.
